Laksmi Bali Agro Tourism

During our 5D4N Bali adventure, we stopped at Laksmi Bali Agro Tourism to look at the luwak and coffee plantation. A guide met us at the parking lot and offered a tour for free. The tour guide was very patient and answered all our questions about the plantation and the luwak.

Luwak is an Asian palm civet — a nocturnal animal. They eat the coffee berries and poop them out. Workers gather the pooped out beans, dry them, wash them, grind them, and turn them into one of the best-tasting coffees, which we could not afford.

Laksmi Bali offers seven flavors of tea and seven flavors of coffee, including lemongrass, ginger, mangosteen, chocolate, and ginseng. They offered us a free taste test of everything. We liked their mangosteen tea, so we bought a pack each at their shop. They also sell soaps, incense, chocolates, and more.
